Hi! I’m Becky
Welcome to my collection of writings on my personal dance with burnout, tapping into seasonal rhythms, and my ever evolving understanding of running a sustainable, anti-capitalist, anti-hustle business.
….Written from deep within my midlife chrysalis, where I am celebrating the everyday moments while simultaneously grieving the passing of time.
About Me
Other than writing overly personal and opinionated emails, I love reading, listening to live music, hiking, sitting under trees and gazing at the moon. I’m a 40-something crunchy mom of three teenagers. I could eat tacos every single day (and sometimes I do). I enjoy witchy rituals, swimming in icy cold lakes, drinking margaritas in the sun, learning new things and traveling. I adore strong coffee, bluegrass music, self help books and quick-witted sarcasm. I have a finely-tuned bullshit meter and a very low tolerance for bullies and bro culture. I live for deep conversations around a campfire. I think plants are endlessly fascinating—Maybe even more so than humans. I like to do the opposite of what people tell me to do.
I’ve been infatuated with mysticism and the unknown for as long as I can remember. I’ve been working with women and the sacred feminine in some form for my entire adult life. In this current iteration, I support women with creative offerings that have the potential change the paradigm. It’s pretty awesome.
Start Small
If your thing feels really big, start small. Don't overthink it. There's a small variant of all big things.
The real secret to more joy
More isn’t always better. Sometimes it’s just more.

From a very young age, we are taught how to be good workers. How to follow the rules. How to stand in line and be quiet and wait to be called on.
