Hi! I’m Becky
Welcome to my collection of writings on my personal dance with burnout, tapping into seasonal rhythms, and my ever evolving understanding of running a sustainable, anti-capitalist, anti-hustle business.
About Me
Other than writing overly personal and opinionated emails, I love reading, listening to live music, hiking, sitting under trees and gazing at the moon. I’m a 40-something crunchy mom of three teenagers. I could eat tacos every single day (and sometimes I do). I enjoy witchy rituals, swimming in icy cold lakes, drinking margaritas in the sun, learning new things and traveling. I adore strong coffee, bluegrass music and quick-witted sarcasm. I have a finely-tuned bullshit meter and a very low tolerance for bullies and bro culture. I live for deep conversations around a campfire. I think plants are endlessly fascinating—Maybe even more so than humans. I like to do the opposite of what people tell me to do.
I’ve been infatuated with mysticism and the unknown for as long as I can remember. I’ve been working with women and the sacred feminine in some form for my entire adult life. In this current iteration, I support women with creative offerings that have the potential change the paradigm. It’s pretty awesome.

Interbeing
Human flourishing happens in relationship.

Capitalism is draining us
Your micro-business or side hustle can be an act of resistance against cultural expectations and norms.

Start Your Side Hustle

The real secret to more joy
More isn’t always better. Sometimes it’s just more.

The messy middle & transitioning to fall
Life consists of liminal moments where you pass from one season of life to another, and these moments often leave us feeling a bit wobbly and unbalanced.

Postcard from my summer vacation
When distanced from the whirlwind of daily life, our bodies SOFTEN. Our shells of protection drop away. Our nervous systems settle. And we are reminded that life is mostly good.

Beltane
Beltane marks the half way point between the spring equinox and the summer solstice.

Your 9-5 is Someone Else’s Passive Income.
From a very young age, we are taught how to be good workers. How to follow the rules. How to stand in line and be quiet and wait to be called on.

Feeling stressed?
Most of us are running on fumes.
